It’s never too early to begin planning a ski vacation in Vermont. There are an abundance of choices throughout the beautiful Green Mountains, from simple and basic to cutting edge.
- Stowe– This is perhaps the most well-known of the ski resorts in Vermont. And it’s no wonder, since, according to many, Stowe offers the best ski experience in all of the Eastern USA.
- Killington– Another famous Vermont ski area, Killington is the largest ski area in the Eastern US with the largest vertical drop in New England measuring 3,050 feet.
- Bolton– A bit off the beaten track and less well-known, many visitors report that skiing here is just as nice as skiing at Stowe, for much less cost.
Are you anxious to hit the slopes? This year’s early cold spell has allowed Killington to already open up their slopes as of November 3. Make your plans and hit the snow running!
