My grandson Matt just moved to Manhattan and is struggling to get comfortable in his tiny studio apartment. Can’t say I blame him, I’d certainly have a hard time containing my whole life in one room. Plus, I need to be surrounded by nature in order to maintain my lifestyle.
I’ve sent him William Shapell’s “Profiles in History: Interior Design” to give him some ideas, and recently stumbled upon this great website with a ‘Small Cool 2012’ interior design competition. I think this girl did an outstanding job with her space and available resources… And I passed it on to Matt as well. Hopefully it’ll give him some useful tips… Check it out!
